GC-GLOBAL CAPITAL CORP. ANNOUNCES THE APPOINTMENT OF MR. ROBERT PARENT AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER  

April 11, 2012, Toronto, Canada - (GDE.A:TSXV) ("Global Capital" or "the Company") Chief Executive Officer Jason Ewart is pleased to announce, that as part of its structural and strategic realignment, the appointment of Mr. Robert Parent as Chief Operating Officer (COO).

The new COO position and appointment demonstrates Global Capital's commitment to strengthening the management team by adding a focus on operations that is consistent with the Company’s recent investments in Marathon Mortgage Corporation, Attorneys Title Guarantee Fund, Inc. and Tanenbaum Landscape & Design Inc.

Mr. Parent has over 10 years of experience working in the financial sector and capital markets in various management roles. Most recently he was Chief Financial Officer for the administrator of a group of investment funds where he was responsible for redesigning the processes to drive operational efficiency. Mr. Parent has a strong background in operations and has rolled out a number of retail products and services. Prior to his most recent CFO role he worked as a senior manager with Scotiabank developing products and services for the retail banking and worked as a high net worth investment advisor. Prior to working in the financial sector, Mr. Parent also spent a number of years working in the space industry developing and operationalizin space flight systems and satellite flight control software.

Mr. Ewart said the appointment of a senior officer was another significant step in Global Capital’s focus on providing its partner companies with access to management resources that will help support them and drive their growth. " Mr. Parent brings to the position many years of operational experience, knowledge and strong leadership which will be essential to drive the company as Global Capital and its major investments grow over the next few years, " he added.
